Atlanta Pride takes place on October 10-11, 2026. Ideal fall weather — highs in the mid-70s°F with low humidity. Mornings can be cool (low 50s).

Light layers are perfect. A t-shirt with a flannel or light jacket works for the temperature swing between morning and afternoon. Comfortable walking shoes for the parade and Piedmont Park.

Express yourself

Pride is a celebration of identity — wear what makes you feel confident, comfortable, and like yourself. There's no wrong answer. You'll see everything from elaborate costumes and full drag to jeans and a rainbow t-shirt.

• Rainbow gear — flags, tutus, face paint, temporary tattoos, and accessories
• Themed outfits — matching group costumes, flag-specific colors (trans, bi, pan, nonbinary, etc.)
• Statement pieces — graphic tees with messages of pride, love, and equality
• Comfortable basics — there's no dress code; a simple outfit with a rainbow accessory works great

Practical essentials

• Comfortable shoes — you'll be on your feet for hours walking and standing. Broken-in sneakers or supportive sandals, not new shoes.
• Sun protection — sunscreen (SPF 30+), hat, and sunglasses
